Pricing
What It Costs Today
YachtListings.app is free for brokerages during the launch phase. There is no per-seat price, no per-listing fee, no commission on a sale, and no trial that quietly converts into a subscription. Nothing on this page is a limited offer with a countdown attached to it.
We have not announced a pricing model, because we do not have one yet. Publishing invented numbers now — numbers we would then change — would be worse than saying plainly that the decision has not been made.
What we will commit to is the notice: when pricing is introduced, it will be announced 90 days before it takes effect, so that no brokerage discovers a bill it did not plan for.

What This Replaces
The useful question is not what the platform costs. It is what a brokerage already spends to do the same work across separate tools, and how many of them stop being necessary.
A brokerage running properly today is typically paying for, and maintaining, some combination of:
- A shared inbox or helpdesk — to stop enquiries disappearing into one person's mailbox.
- A CRM — to record who is where in the process, priced per seat, and usually built for a sales motion that has nothing to do with boats.
- An e-signing service — priced per envelope or per user, with the contract wording maintained separately in a folder of Word documents.
- A website — designed once, hosted somewhere, updated by whoever still has the login.
- Listing portal subscriptions — usually the largest single line, and the one where the brokerage owns neither the audience nor the relationship.
- A messaging workaround — a company phone with WhatsApp on it, because that is where the buyer actually is.
Each of those is defensible on its own. The cost that does not appear on any invoice is the joins between them: the enquiry that was answered on WhatsApp and never made it into the CRM, the contract signed from a template that was three revisions old, the buyer who asked about a boat in March and had to re-introduce themselves in September.
YachtListings.app is one record per boat and per deal, with the inbox, the pipeline, the contracts, the client onboarding, the listing and the brokerage's own domain attached to it. The features page sets out exactly what ships today, including the parts that are still manual.
Why Free, and What We Get From It
The platform is new, and a listing platform is worth to a brokerage roughly what its audience is worth. Charging for access before that audience exists would be charging for a promise.
What we get instead is the thing we actually need: brokerages using the product on real deals and telling us where it is wrong. That is a better trade for both sides than a discount.
Questions
What does it cost right now?
Nothing. Registering a brokerage, adding your team, publishing listings, using the inbox, the pipeline, contracts and client onboarding are all free during the launch phase. No payment details are collected.
What happens when the free phase ends?
Pricing will be announced publicly, on this page, 90 days before it takes effect. You will have that time to decide whether to continue, negotiate, or export and leave. There will be no automatic conversion from a free account into a paid one without an active decision from you.
What happens to my listings if I do not want to pay?
They remain yours. A listing is your content and your client's boat, not ours. If you decide not to continue, the listings can be unpublished or removed and your data exported. We will not hold a brokerage's inventory hostage to a renewal.
Do I own my data?
Yes. Your clients, your conversations, your documents and your signed contracts are yours. The platform stores them, processes them on your behalf, and does not sell them or use one brokerage's client list to the benefit of another. What we do with personal data, and on what legal basis, is set out in the privacy policy.
Is anything sold to third parties?
No. There is no advertising network on the site, no analytics or tracking product embedded in the pages, and no data brokerage. The platform's revenue will come from brokerages paying for it, which is the arrangement in which our incentives and yours point the same way.
Will the free phase be extended for early brokerages?
We have not decided, and we would rather say so than imply a promise we have not made. What is committed is the notice period above, which applies to every brokerage equally.
Are there limits on listings, seats or messages?
There are no published limits during the launch phase. Channels that connect to an outside provider — WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram, Discord — run on your own provider account, so whatever that provider charges for messages is between you and them and is not affected by anything here.
Do you take a commission on a sale?
No. The platform is not a party to any transaction. Contracts prepared and signed through it are between the buyer, the seller and their brokers; the operator is not a broker, an agent or an escrow holder. The terms of service state that explicitly.
